I love these flowers. This one came pretty much out of the camera. I used my zoom lens to blur the background as much as I could.

These fish kept swimming up to the surface and poking their heads out of the water. It was hard to focus on the fish and not the water.

Personally, I like the angle and the contrast in colors on this one.

This sunset was too beautiful to pass up. I took this shot on the roof of my parents’ home while visiting them in Idaho Falls. I used adjustment layer to bring out the colors in the sunset while lightening the neighborhood below.

I liked the focus on this one but I was in a rush to get to class and didn’t set my white balance properly (tisk tisk on me). Luckily, I had a wonderful assignment to use smart filters to fix my shameful mistake.

In this one, I found this cool mural in downtown Rexburg. It reminded me of my childhood. I used a simple blend mode for the word.

I found this really nifty scrawl on the corner of a wall behind Fongs in downtown Rexburg. I blended freshly fallen snow with the image to give it a slightly grainy effect.

These were fun to do. I grabbed my friend, Jordan and we went to Porter Park to see what inspired us. We found this kid just juggling on a bench. He was really good, showing off his various juggling tricks to us. He actually makes his own juggling balls.

Penny Playtime

After cutting Penny out and replacing the background, I took out the background color and blurred it so Penny could be the focal point.

It was Christmas morning and the sunrise was too beautiful to not take pictures. This was taken in may backyard.

It was easy to follow the branches to take out some of the picture. I boosted the contrast a little to make the apple pop more.
